“Total Quality” a slogan often
used in the ‘90, a slogan however that very few companies
have managed to transfer into concrete facts in the third millennium.
With this in mind the brand Free Line was born with which Birel
spa, producing a range of accessories of great cohesion between
design and technology, has never lost sight of the economical
side managing to guarantee a good relationship between quality
and price. An accurate selection of materials guaranteeing, above
all, the required high quality standards relative to the world
of competition that is translated into safe, high performance
racing components.
RESEARCH
AND DEVELOPMENT BEFORE ALL ELSE
The research of any new part is carried out by
a team of designers, technicians and engineers in facilities housing
computer hard wear CAD and FEM. The aim is to carry out detailed
studies of every element in relevance to the materials required
in order to evaluate and verify the theoretical dynamic characteristics
and to confirm the initial computer calculations. Once the project
has been approved the computer aided calculations are then immediately
transferred into prototypes that undergo an ulterior series of studies
in 1:1 scale to reconfirm the conclusions made in the initial phase.
TECNOLOGY
AND PRODUCTION
Once the prototype has been defined it proceeds
to the point of casting. All this work is carried out with avant-garde,
high precision machinery for consistent uniform production. Before
initiating the full time manufacturing of the piece the first group
of units are then taken to Birel Motorsport personnel who initiate
the process of on track testing. Only after verification and ulterior
quality and performance developments from indications given by the
Motorsport
personnel is the piece passed on to the production staff and consequently
launched on to the market, constantly undergoing quality control
before and distribution.
